About The Artist
For over a decade, I have been deeply involved in visual production in Los Angeles and across North America as a beauty photographer and retoucher. Today, my Avenue team and I combine photography, retouching, motion, and our proprietary AI-augmented workflows to research, pre-visualize, and deliver more content than traditional production alone could allow.
I am formally trained in Commercial Photography in Melbourne, Australia, and MIT-certified in Applied Generative AI. I founded Retouching Academy and co-created Retouching panels, which are now used by 20,000+ creative professionals worldwide.
Our proprietary hybrid production system is built on standards that governed our work long before AI became accessible: rigorous attention to detail through all stages of production with no room for error.
We leverage our custom agentic workflows at specific points in production: market and trend research for visual direction development, moodboarding, scalable asset variations, and versioning.
AI does not replace traditional production and creative judgment, but it does help us do more work we’re proud of, faster. Every visual is reviewed and approved by me before it is delivered to our clients.
I believe in the power of a strong creative team, thorough pre-production, and capturing everything as perfectly as possible in camera to minimize the post-production time and cost.
